Solheim Cup 2015: Europe lead US 8-5 after day two

The United States trail Europe 8-5 at the end of day two of the Solheim Cup with three matches unable to finish.

Play was suspended because of fading light with the Americans leading in two of the remaining fourballs in Germany.

American pair Lexi Thompson and Cristie Kerr beat Spain’s Azahara Munoz and Carlota Ciganda 3&2 in the only match completed on an afternoon of slow play.

The fourballs will be completed on Sunday morning before 12 singles matches will decide the winners.
